Plymth-Canton Community Schools is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver assessments and therapy services that empower students to develop strong communication skills for academic and social success. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, student-centered team.

Position Overview:
As an SLP, y will assess student needs, design individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy addressing a range of speech and language skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and prepare clear reports

  • Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals

  • Address articulation, fluency, receptive/expressive language, and social communication

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress

  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations and updates

  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Active Michigan SLP License

  • Michigan Department of Education Certification for School-Based SLPs

  • ASHA CCC strongly preferred

  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred

  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Job Details:
