Job Description
Union City School District is looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver assessments and therapy that help students communicate confidently and effectively. Join a supportive team committed to every students success.
Abt the Position:
As an SLP, yll assess communication challenges, develop individualized therapy plans, and provide interventions that build essential skills for learning and daily life.
Key Responsibilities:

Complete thorgh speech-language evaluations and prepare detailed reports

Design and implement therapy plans based on students unique needs and IEP goals

Address articulation, fluency, receptive and expressive language, and pragmatic communication

Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to track progress

Participate in IEP meetings to offer recommendations and updates

Maintain clear records in compliance with district and state regulations
Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Active New Jersey SLP License

New Jersey DOE Certification for school-based services

ASHA CCC preferred

Previs school or pediatric experience preferred

Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and organization
