We are currently seeking an experienced Contract Locum CRNA Coverage for a dynamic role in our healthcare facility located in the beautiful Northwest Oregon region. This position offers the unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, providing top-notch anesthesia care to a diverse patient population. This is a contract position, offering flexible scheduling options and a competitive compensation package. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our anesthesia care team, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective administration of anesthesia.

Responsibilities:
As a Contract Locum CRNA, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Administering anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and obstetrical procedures.
2. Monitoring patient status during procedures and adjusting anesthesia levels as needed.
3. Providing preoperative and postoperative care, including evaluating patient readiness for anesthesia, explaining procedures to patients, and managing patient recovery from anesthesia.
4. Collaborating with the surgical team to develop and implement anesthesia care plans.
5. Documenting all anesthesia care in patient records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
6. Participating in quality improvement initiatives and educational programs.
7. Maintaining current knowledge of advancements in anesthesia care through continuing education and professional development activities.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have the following qualifications:

1. A current license as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in the state of Oregon.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a CRNA, with a strong background in various types of anesthesia administration.
3. Experience working as a Locum CRNA is highly desirable.
4. Advanced practice provider skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a diverse healthcare team.
