Join the RAC as a Legal Services Support Agent and help members access the legal support they need, delivering a great experience from their very first interaction. We're looking for a customer-focused individual to join the Legal Services team in Bradley Stoke, Bristol on a part-time basis. Working shifts between 8am and 6pm, you'll be the first point of contact for members with Legal Expenses Insurance (LEI) enquiries, helping them get the right support while ensuring every interaction is handled professionally and efficiently. This role would suit someone who enjoys speaking with people, solving problems and working in a fast-paced environment where customer service and attention to detail are equally important.

What you’ll do:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, acting as the first point of contact for members and arranging timely call-backs with qualified legal advisors.
  • Support LEI policyholders by validating policies, answering general enquiries and managing expectations throughout the customer journey.
  • Accurately update and maintain customer and case information across internal systems.
  • Assist with policy administration, including changes, cancellations and mid-term adjustments, delivering a professional and helpful service.
  • Work in line with FCA, Data Protection and PCI requirements while providing wider administrative and operational support across the Legal Services team.

What you’ll need:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and handle conversations professionally.
  • Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft 365 and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy, service-driven environment.
  • Confidence managing multiple enquiries while maintaining accuracy and delivering a great member experience.
  • Experience in a customer service, contact centre or telephone-based role.
  • Experience within legal services, insurance or another regulated environment.
