- A competitive base salary of £40,170, with on-target earnings up to £52,000.
- Guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
- 40 hours per week, core hours 8:30 am‑5:00 pm, and one Saturday every four weeks.

What to Expect
Our Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) division delivers planned, structured repair and servicing directly to members – from their driveway to their workplace car park. There are no emergency callouts, unpredictable shift patterns or roadside recoveries. Instead, you will work through a scheduled list of jobs, with the time, tools and support you need to do quality work.
Daily Responsibilities
- Conduct routine servicing.
- Perform diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
- Carry out in‑depth repairs normally completed in a workshop.
- Offer member advice and recommendations based on your inspection.
- Perform vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
From day one you will have a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, a full tool set and advanced diagnostics. Use your technical skill and problem‑solving ability to get people moving again safely, quickly and confidently.
