Job Description
We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our team on a short-term contract lasting 6 to 8 weeks in Lordstown, Ohio. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing and verifying inventory, ensuring accurate tracking, reconciliation, and reporting. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
• Manage bar-coded product inventory to ensure all items are accurately tracked and invoiced.
• Inspect incoming shipments to confirm items match system records and shipping documentation.
• Reconcile inventory against the Bill of Lading and other shipping paperwork to identify discrepancies.
• Conduct item counts and verify quantities to ensure accurate reporting and documentation.
• Compare product descriptions to ensure proper identification and tracking within inventory systems.
• Report damaged goods, missing items, or other discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of inventory activity to support operational reporting.
• Adhere to company procedures and guidelines to ensure proper handling and management of inventory.
• Collaborate with team members to address and resolve inventory-related issues efficiently.
• Perform additional inventory-related tasks as directed by management.• Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or shipping/receiving is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify product information with accuracy.
