RPh on the Go is actively hiring a Travel Inpatient Pharmacist at a large hospitalin Montgomery!The pharmacist will serve as the lead operations pharmacist onsite and also provide remote overnight coverage for a sister hospital location.
Position: Travel Inpatient Pharmacist
Type: Full-time, 7 on / 7 off contract assignment
Schedule:Overnights, MondaySunday rotation
Setting: Inpatient hospital large facility
Coverage: Includes remote order verification
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead operations pharmacist during assigned shifts
- Review and verify physician orders accurately and efficiently
- Work collaboratively with pharmacy technicians and clinical staff
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and state regulations
- Provide support for NICU, med-surg, and other inpatient areas as needed
Requirements:
- Active and clear Alabama Pharmacist license (or in process at time of interview; must be in hand by start date)
- Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
- Ability to work independently, triage effectively, and lead onsite operations
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- NICU experience preferred
