Job Description
Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group is currently seeking an experienced HR Specialist to support a dynamic, mission-driven professional services firm that provides project and construction management, IT, and consulting services to a range of federal and commercial clients. The organization is known for its collaborative culture, commitment to excellence, and fast-paced environment. This role requires a hands-on HR professional capable of managing a wide range of responsibilities with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with ADP Workforce Now and be able to step into the role with little to no ramp-up time.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes

  • Administer employee benefits and serve as the point of contact for HR-related inquiries

  • Handle HR compliance tasks such as unemployment claims, wage garnishments, and 401(k) processing

  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy within ADP Workforce Now

  • Support management and staff with HR policies, procedures, and best practices

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • 2–4 years of relevant HR experience

  • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now with the ability to operate independently

  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, employee benefits, and compliance procedures

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

  • Minimum of an Associate's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
