Job Description
Position Overview:
A school district in Lafayette, IN is seeking a qualified and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team. This full-time, on-site role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with communication disorders, while working collaboratively with educators and families to support student success.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, fluency, and voice disorders

Develop and implement IEPs for students with identified speech-language needs

Provide individual and grp therapy services based on student goals

Monitor and document progress, adjusting therapy as needed

Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support communication development across educational settings

Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Ensure all services are delivered in compliance with state and federal regulations
Required Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Valid Indiana Speech-Language Pathology license thrgh the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA)

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred

Strong understanding of evidence-based intervention, IEP development, and data collection practices
