We’re currently looking for a highly organised and detail-driven Fleet Scheduler to support the delivery and efficiency of our vehicle replacement and growth programmes.
Reporting to the Fleet Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring RAC’s fleet build schedules are aligned with our operational needs. You’ll liaise with vehicle manufacturers, our conversion partners, and internal teams to manage the full lifecycle of our vehicle assets—from acquisition to decommissioning. This is a hybrid role, with the office based in Bescot, on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Coordinate vehicles build schedules to align with business requirements
- Work with suppliers to manage vehicle delivery timelines, conversions, and equipment installation
- Oversee the end-of-life and in-life processes of our vehicles, ensuring equipment checks and compliance
- Monitor and respond to fleet-related queries and provide absence cover for Fleet Support when required
- Ensure internal van assets are replaced according to plan
- Track supplier performance, highlight risks, and report on CAPEX and vehicle build progress
- Produce regular fleet performance reports and collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate cost tracking
What We’re Looking For:
- You’ll need to be a strong communicator and a confident problem-solver who can juggle multiple priorities
- A background in fleet operations, vehicle logistics, or a similar coordination role would be a great fit.
- Excellent administrative, organisational, and data-handling skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Word and presentation skills desirable
- Strong attention to detail and business awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider support team
- Experience in coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
- Capable of managing multiple data inputs to generate business insight
