Job Description
A correctional facility is seeking a physician for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Beaumont, VA.
The position is for an MD only, with a start date ASAPideally within the next two weeks. The assignment length is 3 or 6 months, with an option to extend, and credentialing takes about two weeks. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with no call responsibilities. The provider will see 1820 adult patients per day, working with RNs and LPNs for support. The facility uses paper charts but Sapphire for prescriptions. Required certifications include BC/BE, a VA license, and DEA registration.
