Job Details
- Drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorney and other related estate planning documents.
- Gift and estate tax planning for high-net worth individuals and families.
- Trust and estate administration
- Business entity formation and maintenance of corporate governance.
- Real estate closings.
- Preparation of federal and Illinois estate tax returns and federal gift tax returns.
- Collaboration with clients, attorneys, and professionals.
Qualifications:
1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. An active license to practice law in the state of Illinois.
3. A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Trust & Estates Attorney, with a strong track record in estate planning, individual taxes, and trust, gift, and estate taxes.
4. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
6. A high level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
7. The ability to work independently and manage a large caseload, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
8. A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
