Job Description
Volt is immediately hiring an Engineering Drafter in San Antonio, TX with a well-known industry leader.
In this role you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
This is a first shift position.
As an Engineering Drafter you will:
- Update the title block of engineering drawings to support rebranding efforts
- Support the release of updated drawings in the company’s product lifecycle management system
- Support the Product Engineering team with drawing updates as needed
- Ensure the accuracy and compliance of our technical plans with regulations and quality standards.
Estimated Duration 24+ months
The ideal candidate will have:
- BS Degree (preferred)
- Proficiency with 3D solid modeling tools
- Strong attention to detail which allows for assignments to be completed with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills (written, oral, and presentation) and systems proficiency
- Ability to work independently with limited direction to prioritize and complete assigned responsibilities
- Experience with Pro/Engineer (Creo), AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Siemens NX (preferred)
- Demonstrated use of advanced project management techniques to drive continuous improvement initiatives across working teams.
Pay Rate: $22.90 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
