SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
*Assist individuals in non-vocational activities necessary to enable them to live as independently as possible in their own homes, in rental units, or with family.
*Assist individuals with person-centered planning. For example: home management skills, money management, nutrition and meal preparation, recreation and leisure activities, life skills, emergency preparedness, community involvement, etc.
*Maintain a clean and safe living environment for the individuals being supported
*Prep meals for individuals being supported
*Provide companionship on outings and activities for individuals being supported
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
*Must be experienced with supporting adults with developmental disabilities in the community, and managing associated behaviors.
