Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire, 3days onsite and 2days remote
Are you an experienced litigation secretary with strong calendaring skills interested in a full-time position in San Francisco, CA? If you enjoy legal sec and calendaring duties, this position is for you. Our client, a law firm, is seeking an experienced litigation secretary with strong calendaring skills to provide high-level legal support to a team of attorneys. The right candidate is professional, tech savvy and able to handle multiple priorities and work in an organized, efficient manner. The successful candidate will effectively manage all aspects of the professional responsibilities of the assigned attorneys. This position is full time hours and hybrid schedule.
Duties & Responsibilities
• An experienced litigation legal secretary with 5+years of experience is required. Coordination of discovery shells, creation of legal documents as well as the editing, proofreading, and processing of legal documents upon request of assigned attorneys, including correspondence, memoranda, discovery, MSJ, pleadings, or other practice specific documents
• Strong experience with state and federal e-filing (both paper & electronic), manual calendaring (outlook), supporting 4 to 5 attorneys. Preference is defense litigation, TOA/TOC, collaborating with staff regarding Administrative Support for paralegals and attorneys. Strong calendaring skills using compulaw. Candidate must be proficient in both legal sec and calendaring skills.
• Assists with overflow work and other special projects as assigned.
• Knowledge of Outlook, Compu law, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications:
• 3-5+ years of solid litigation secretary and calendaring experience
• Strong experience with state/federal e filing, calendaring, TOA/TOC.
