Minimum 1+ years pharmacy experience required.

Position :Unit-Based Clinical Pharmacist
Clinical Pharmacist will work in the both ED and ICU areas as a unit-based clinical pharmacist.

Principle Duties:
-medication order entry and verification, medication profile review for appropriateness, clinical services as needed by the specific patient population, and drug information.

  • Participate in multi-disciplinary teams and/or rounds as assigned per practice area
  • Perform drug therapy monitoring or other pharmacist-managed consults per protocol.
  • For ED/critical care services, participate in acute patient scenarios such as cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, trauma, etc

Location: State College, PA
Schedule: variable days/afternoons (mainly day shifts). 8 hour shifts (mainly day shifts)
IT: Meditech

Ideal candidate: BS in Pharmacy or PharmD. PGYI OR 3 years of current clinical experience. PA pharmacist license or ability to obtain
