Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in our SMR Division – a new era of mobile repair.

Remuneration: A competitive base salary of £40,178, with on-target earnings up to £52,000. A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities. 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, including 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Location: You’ll be part of the Bridgwater cluster, covering Bridgwater, Burnham-on-Sea, Weston-super-Mare, Highbridge, and Cheddar. You’ll work through a clearly planned schedule of appointments in your local area.

Responsibilities:

  • Routine servicing.
  • Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
  • In-depth repairs normally completed in a workshop.
  • Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection.
  • Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.

Qualifications:

  • Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
  • A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
