JOB SUMMARY
The Corporate Travel Advisor is responsible for domestic and international travel arrangements for our leadership team and board of directors. This role will coordinate flights, hotels, cruises, packages, ground transportation, and car rentals, prioritizing cost and providing exceptional client service. In addition, this role requires expertise in SABRE GDS and prior corporate and/or luxury travel experience, with flexibility to support client needs through occasional work outside standard business hours.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide consultative service to travelers throughout the booking process including booking domestic reservations for air travel, hotel, and car rentals and more.
- Respond to requests for domestic and international price quotations, as well as handle ticketing, adjustments, exchanges & queue management .
- Manage client profiles and special requests, complete all reservations in an accurate and timely manner.
- Deliver exceptional customer service maintaining professional client relations through prompt and accurate communication.
- Promote acceptance of fares, rates, and suppliers that align with client travel program policies.
- Monitor global distribution systems (GDS) queues to maintain quality control.
- Stay informed of airline rules, regulations, and current affairs as well as make clients aware of all necessary travel documents and health requirements for countries to be visited

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Overall travel industry knowledge and experience.
- Sabre GDS and Travelport knowledge and proficiency required
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be highly organized and enjoy working with high level executives.
- Competent with all aspects of ticketing transactions, including experience with complex domestic and international ticketing & exchanges
- Knowledge of online booking tools.
- Ability to manage both long range planning and close-in tight deadlines
- Geography and international destination knowledge are necessary.
- Must have the ability to effectively multi-task while maintaining professional rapport with corporate clients.
- Candidates should possess decisive and successful problem-solving skills.
- Must have high attention to detail and ability work independently
- Strong computer technical skills
- Flexible schedule to respond to client needs outside of normal hours
- Willingness to learn new functions and to enhance existing skills.
- Achieve individual and contractual service level goals.
