Job Description
Salary: $28-34 an hour
Position: Packaging Production Supervisor
Compensation: $28-34 an hour
Location: Springdale, OH
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of converting operators to meet production goals while promoting a culture of safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Monitor and optimize production processes, troubleshoot equipment issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Enforce quality standards, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company policies.
- Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.
- Communicate production metrics and participate in cost analysis and corrective action planning.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Production Supervisor is required
- Previous experience in the Manufacturing Packaging Industry is required
- Previous experience operating slitter rewinder, laminator, die cutter, coating, labeling and flexible packaging machines
- High School Diploma or GED required;
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a proactive mindset.
