Salary: $88,400 – $100,000/year (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Position Summary:
Adecco is currently assisting a local client in Riverton, WY, in the search for a Construction Superintendent – Heavy Civil to oversee day-to-day operations on large-scale civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have proven field leadership experience in heavy civil work, including roadway construction, paving, grading, and underground utilities. This role requires a hands-on, safety-conscious professional who can manage crews, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure high-quality project execution.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise all on-site activities related to heavy civil construction, including highways, parking lots, grading, and utility installations.

Ensure project schedules, budgets, safety protocols, and quality standards are met or exceeded.

Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.

Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless project flow.

Maintain daily logs, site reports, and documentation to track progress, labor, materials, and equipment usage.

Conduct site inspections to monitor safety compliance, identify hazards, and enforce corrective actions.

Handle material deliveries, site logistics, and proper equipment use.

Collaborate with local agencies and inspectors to meet regulatory and permitting requirements.

Address challenges or changes on-site efficiently to keep projects on track.
Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in heavy civil construction projects.

Strong working knowledge of site development, paving, grading, drainage systems, and underground utility work.

Proven ability to lead field crews and subcontractors on complex civil jobs.

Understanding of DOT regulations and local/state civil codes (preferred).

Comfortable using technology and software tools for daily reporting and project tracking.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to read and understand civil plans, layouts, and technical documentation.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Willingness and ability to work in physically demanding outdoor environments and various weather conditions.

Pay Details: $88,400.00 to $100,000.00 per year
