Job Description
As a Concrete Finisher you will be responsible for smoothing and finishing surfaces of poured concrete, including floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, and curbs. Your role involves checking and setting forms that hold concrete to ensure they are properly constructed, aligned, and pitched to the desired depth.

- Check the forms that hold the concrete to ensure they are properly constructed.
- Set forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth and align them appropriately.
Essential Skills
- Concrete finishing expertise.
- Proficiency in construction and concrete finishing.
- Skill in using edging tools.
- Ability to run a bull float.
- Experience with trowel machines and concrete forms.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in concrete finishing.
- Experience in form carpentry.

Work Environment
You will perform work primarily in Wichita, KS, and potentially in cities within a 1-2 hour radius, including Oklahoma. The team meets at the shop in Wichita, KS, and travels to job sites. If traveling, meetings at the shop start at 5AM or 5:30AM for out-of-town jobs. Work hours are generally from 7AM to 5PM, with candidates expected to work 40-50 hours per week, depending on weather conditions. The schedule may vary from four 10-hour days to five 10-hour days based on weather impacts.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 – $27.00/hr.
