We are seeking skilled painters with expertise in brush and roll techniques to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in both commercial and residential painting settings, demonstrating proficiency in cutting and trimming without the use of painter's tape. Experience in drywall patching and sanding for cosmetic purposes is essential to ensure walls are properly prepped.
Responsibilities
- Execute painting tasks using brush and roll techniques, ensuring surfaces are covered in the correct order.
- Prepare areas for painting by moving furniture and covering floors.
- Paint at the top of walls in a straight line using brushes for cutting in.
- Use rollers on extendable poles to cover large areas of drywall or concrete after cutting in.
- Patch drywall and sand divots for cosmetic purposes, ensuring proper wall preparation.
Essential Skills
- Prior experience painting in commercial or residential settings.
- Proficiency with brush and roll techniques, including cutting and trimming.
- Consistent work history in painting roles.

Work Environment
Work primarily involves commercial projects, including new construction and renovations around the Rochester area, typically within 40 miles of the headquarters. Work hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. The team currently consists of around 20 painters actively working on various projects, focusing on new constructions and renovations of office buildings and business parks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $22.00/hr.
