Leading Regional Litigation Firm Seeks Litigation Attorney (Will train on Commercial Litigation)

About Firm & Position:

A highly respected regional firm, known for its expertise in commercial construction litigation and surety law, is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join its growing team. With over 30 years of success and a long-standing client base, the firm offers complex, high-stakes litigation, a supportive Managing Partner, and strong internal mentorship. This is a unique opportunity for a Litigation Attorney to deepen their experience in a niche litigation practice while working alongside top-tier lawyers.

Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:

  • Handle sophisticated construction and surety litigation matters from inception to resolution.
  • Draft and argue motions, including dispositive and procedural motions.
  • Conduct all phases of discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery and taking/defending depositions.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda and case strategy analysis.
  • Work closely with clients, experts, and team members throughout the litigation lifecycle.
  • Collaborate on trial prep and attend hearings and proceedings as needed.

Hours:

  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite (Irvine-area office)
  • Billable requirement: 1,950 hours/year
