Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer & Operator to join our team and play a critical role in producing custom parts using state-of-the-art 4-axis CNC router machines. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of CNC programming and machine operation to produce complex parts with precision and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and modify CNC programs for multi-axis machines using CAD/CAM software (Mastercam) to produce parts from wood, plywood, MDF, and other materials.
- Set up and operate multi-axis CNC router machines to machine parts according to specifications.
- Choose appropriate tooling, adjust machine settings, and calibrate tools for optimal performance and precision.
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications, utilizing measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure continuous production.
- Collaborate closely with the design and production teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure the workspace remains clean and organized.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience programming and operating multi-axis CNC router machines.
- Proficiency with CNC programming software and ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong focus on quality control and the ability to produce parts with high precision.
- Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot machine problems, and propose effective solutions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with various types of wood (MDF, plywood, etc.).
- Proficiency in programming using MasterCAM and Fanuc Controls.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in CNC machining or related fields is a plus.

Work Environment
This position operates on a 1st shift schedule from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Initially, candidates will work 8-hour days during the contract period, transitioning to a 50-hour work week upon hire. The work involves using advanced CNC machines and requires adherence to safety protocols in a well-organized and clean workspace.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $28.00/hr.
