Job Description
Salary: $22.00 – $30.00 /HR
Hours:
1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 5:00am – 3:30pm
2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00pm – 2:00am (Every other Friday Off)
Pay: $22.00 – $30.00 /HR
Duties:
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling and/or turning machines to produce precision parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet required tolerances and quality standards
- Make minor program edits and machine adjustments to improve productivity and accuracy
- Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure equipment is clean and functioning properly
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize machining processes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on CNC machining experience (milling, turning, or both); 5+ years preferred
- Experience with multi-axis CNC machines and familiarity with Fanuc controls
- Solid understanding of G-code and the ability to make basic program edits
- Proficient in reading blueprints and using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
- Exposure to CAD/CAM software is a plus
- Previous experience in a job shop or high-mix, low-volume production setting preferred
- Strong attention to detail, quality-minded, and able to work independently or collaboratively as needed
