Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Infusion Pharmacist to join a leading specialty and home infusion pharmacy in Inglewood, CA. This is a contract or contract-to-hire opportunity ideal for pharmacists passionate about direct patient care and infusion therapy in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Job Title: Clinical Infusion Pharmacist
Location: Inglewood, CA
Job Type: Full-Time | Contract / Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: MondayFriday, Day Shift (8-hour shifts)
Key Responsibilities:

Verify and dispense prescription orders accurately

Provide clinical counseling and review patient therapy charts

Manage care coordination with prescribers and internal teams

Oversee sterile and non-sterile pounding performed by technicians

Maintain inventory, track lots, and handle product recalls

Support insurance claim adjudication and billing processes

Input data into CareTend and manage workflow documentation

Assist in pliance audits and accreditation readiness
-
Serve as PIC in their absence and participate in on-call rotation
Qualifications:
-
PharmD or BSPharm from an ACPE-accredited college
-
Active, unrestricted CA pharmacist license
-
24 years of experience in home infusion, hospital, or specialty pharmacy preferred

Strong understanding of USP 795, 797, and 800 standards

Proficiency in CareTend and/or similar pharmacy systems

Detail-oriented with strong munication and organizational skills
