Job Description
Civil Engineer (PE)
Land Development- Municipal Engineer- Water Resources Engineer- Stormwater
An excellent engineering firm in the local area is actively seeking to add an experienced Civil Engineer (PE preferred) to the organization for a full-time permanent staff opportunity. Project work will include but not limited to grading, erosion and sedimentation control, stormwater management, storm & sanitary sewer systems.

Responsibilities:
- Design projects include land development, grading, stormwater management, erosion and sedimentation control, storm sewer, sanitary sewer
- Review subdivision and land development plans to ensure compliance with municipal ordinances
- Prepare technical specifications and bidding documents
- Prepare construction cost estimates
- Preparation of Stormwater Management Report, Erosion & Sedimentation Control Reports, and Hydraulic and Hydrology Studies
- Consults with and provides guidance to project stakeholders and staff regarding engineering requirements for construction of various designs, modifications, and repairs
- Manage projects through design until completion of construction
- Coordinate with design team professionals of other disciplines as they perform their designs to ensure proper coordination on construction documents
- Perform project site visits during construction to ensure proper implementation of the design documents
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of four (4) or more years of related engineering experience
- Autodesk Civil 3D
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Strong people skills maintaining professional client relationships
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
