Here, you’ll deliver planned, structured repairs and servicing directly to our members, whether at their driveway or workplace car park.

Your Role in the SMR Division

In this role, you’ll be part of the Bournemouth cluster, covering areas like Bournemouth, Poole, and Christchurch. Forget about emergency callouts and unpredictable shifts! You’ll work through a scheduled list of jobs, equipped with the time, tools, and support to deliver quality work.

Your day begins with a clear digital schedule, where each job is pre-booked and the member is expecting you. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Routine servicing
  • Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
  • In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
  • Providing member advice and recommendations based on your inspections
  • Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards

What You’ll Need

  • Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
  • A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
