Location

You’ll be part of the Leeds cluster, covering areas such as Leeds, Wakefield, Castleford, Pontefract, Dewsbury, Batley, Morley, Pudsey, Otley and Garforth. Work is organised locally so you can start and finish at home, focusing your day on getting members back on the road in your local area.

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

  • NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
  • A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

As a Roadside Technician within our Patrol division, you’ll deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. Whether it’s a flat battery, tyre change or complex fault‑finding, you’ll provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance when our members need it most. You start and end each day at home, tackling challenges head‑on and making a real impact on the roadside – combining your technical expertise with outstanding member service.

We’ll set you up for success from day one, providing your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit.
