Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in our SMR Division - a new era of mobile repair.

What you’ll do:

  • Carry out routine servicing
  • Use advanced mobile diagnostic equipment
  • Complete in-depth repairs normally done in a workshop
  • Offer member advice and recommendations based on inspection
  • Perform vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards

Your schedule:

40 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, with core hours 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and a 1 in 4 Saturday shift. Overtime is guaranteed and can be opted for.

Qualifications:

  • Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
  • A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
