Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts in alignment with group reporting deadlines.
• Manage the general ledger, ensuring proper accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes to maintain timely reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors to handle financial statement audits and tax compliance.
• Execute accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
• Process payroll and work directly with external payroll and 401k providers.
• Administer cash management tasks, including bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting.
• Maintain fixed asset registers, calculating and recording depreciation schedules.
• Ensure adherence to local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements while supporting external audits.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to aid operational and strategic decision-making.• Certified Accountant with relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of accounting experience, preferably in a standalone or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of local tax and regulatory requirements, with international reporting experience as a plus.
• Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP systems.
• Industry experience in aviation, distribution, or supply chain is highly desirable.
• Detail-oriented and capable of meeting tight deadlines with precision.
