Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in our Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) Division – a new era of mobile repair.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work through a pre‑booked, scheduled list of jobs throughout the day.
  • Perform routine servicing and diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
  • Carry out in‑depth repairs normally performed in a workshop.
  • Provide member advice and recommendations based on inspection.
  • Complete vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards.
  • Use a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, and tool kit to deliver high‑quality work.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
  • Minimum two years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
  • Full UK driving licence with fewer than six points.
