Responsibilities
- You’re someone who gets people. This isn’t just spanners and engines – our mechanics are out there on driveways, chatting with customers, giving advice, and representing the RAC with pride. You’re not just in the RAC – you are the RAC. Every fix, every chat, every driveway visit shows what we’re all about.
- You like mixing things up. Every day is a little different – servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and checks. But it doesn’t stop there: you’ll manage your stock, do your reporting, and keep those customer conversations flowing.
- You think on your feet. You’ll be trusted to think on your feet and make the right call for each customer. Different fixes, different faces, new challenges every day.
Qualifications
- Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
- At least 3 years’ hands-on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
