As a Mobile Mechanic you will work across the RAC’s Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) division, providing planned, structured repair and servicing directly to members at their driveway or workplace car park.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing as per pre-booked schedule.
- Diagnose vehicle issues using advanced mobile equipment.
- Perform in-depth repairs normally done in a workshop.
- Give member advice and recommendations based on inspection.
- Conduct vehicle safety checks in line with RAC standards.
- Manage a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tool set, and diagnostics.
What you’ll need
- Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
