Responsibilities
- Provide roadside assistance as a Superflex Patrol Roadside Mechanic, adapting to a variety of fault types and customer needs.
- Diagnose faults, manage tyre and battery issues, and determine the right fix while keeping customers informed.
- Manage your own kit, keep your van stocked, and handle reports with precision.
- Read situations quickly, make the right call, and support each member to keep everyone moving.
- Represent the RAC professionally, whether on busy roadways or at quieter locations, and remain calm under pressure.
Qualifications
- A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with demonstrative technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
- A customer-focused approach
- A full UK driving licence
- Flexibility to work at relatively short notice and open to travel with overnight stays, if necessary
