Responsibilities
- Provide roadside assistance as a Superflex Patrol Roadside Mechanic, making the call on fixes to keep members moving.
- Diagnose faults, perform fault diagnostics, and handle routine roadside repairs (e.g., tyre changes, battery issues).
- Manage your own kit and keep your RAC van stocked, with accurate reporting and documentation.
- Be calm under pressure, connect with members, and represent the RAC as a trusted ambassador on site.
- Respond to calls across varied environments, from busy roadways to quiet locations, delivering the RAC difference on every call-out.
Qualifications
- A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with demonstrative technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
- A customer-focused approach.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Flexibility to work at relatively short notice and open to travel with overnight stays, if necessary.
