Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in our Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) Division – a new era of mobile repair.
Key Responsibilities
- Work through a pre‑booked, scheduled list of jobs throughout the day.
- Perform routine servicing and diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
- Carry out in‑depth repairs normally performed in a workshop.
- Provide member advice and recommendations based on inspection.
- Complete vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards.
- Use a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, and tool kit to deliver high‑quality work.
Qualifications
- Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
- Minimum two years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
- Full UK driving licence with fewer than six points.
