Responsibilities
- Roadside Patrol Technician
- Diagnosing and repairing vehicles at the roadside
- Working independently in a fast-paced, reactive environment
- Every day is different – from batteries and tyres to complex fault‑finding
- You start and finish your day from home, in a fully equipped RAC van
- Mobile Vehicle Technician (SMR)
- Pre‑booked appointments at members' homes or workplaces
- Structured schedules with time to do the job properly
- No emergency call‑outs or roadside recovery
- In‑depth servicing, diagnostics and repairs typically seen in a workshop
