As a Roadside Technician with a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and at least 2 years’ post‑qualification technical, electrical and diagnostic experience, you will deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll respond to flat batteries, tyre changes or complex fault‑finding, providing quick, confident solutions and reassurance when our members need it most.
Responsibilities
- Deliver mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics, provide emergency breakdown support and troubleshoot varied faults on the road.
- Maintain a customer‑focused approach, stay calm under pressure, and act as a proud ambassador for the RAC.
- Use the RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit provided to achieve high‑quality service.
