Overview
Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician and keep the UK moving. You’ll deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You start and finish the day at home, tackling challenges head‑on and making a real impact on the roadside.
Responsibilities
- Provide quick, confident roadside repair and diagnostics for drivers experiencing flat batteries, tyre changes or complex fault findings.
- Tackle a variety of call‑outs, from fault diagnostics to flat tyre or battery replacement, and make the right call for each customer.
- Work demand‑led shifts averaging 40 hours per week, with optional overtime available.
Qualifications
- A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with proven technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
- A customer‑focused approach and a full UK driving licence.
