Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician
As a Roadside Technician in our Patrol division you will deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. Whether it’s a flat battery, tyre change, or complex fault‑finding, you will provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance when our members need it most.
Responsibilities
- Perform roadside mechanical repairs, electrical fault diagnosis, and vehicle diagnostics.
- Respond to breakdown calls and provide emergency roadside support.
- Use diagnostic equipment, tools, and van kit to complete jobs efficiently.
- Maintain the RAC van, tools, and diagnostic kit to a high standard.
- Deliver outstanding member service and communication at all times.
Qualifications
- Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification or equivalent.
- Proven technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
- Customer‑focused approach and good communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
