As a Roadside Technician within our Patrol division, you will deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You will provide quick, confident solutions for flat batteries, tyre changes, or complex fault‑finding, and reassure members in distress. Your day starts and ends at home, tackling challenges head‑on and making a real impact on the roadside, combining technical expertise with outstanding member service. You’ll be equipped with an RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and a diagnostic kit, all provided.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
  • Proven technical, electrical and diagnostic experience
  • A customer‑focused approach
  • A full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical roadside repairs
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle faults
  • Provide emergency breakdown support
  • Deliver rapid and reliable service while maintaining high customer satisfaction
