Responsibilities
As a Roadside Technician within our Patrol division, you\’ll deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You\’ll start and end your day at home, tackle challenges head-on, and make a real impact on the roadside by combining your technical expertise with outstanding member service. You\’ll be equipped and supported from day one with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit.
Typical activities include fault diagnostics, roadside repairs, and providing quick, confident solutions and reassurance when our members need it most. The role is varied, requiring you to think on your feet and make the right call for each customer, whether dealing with a flat battery, tyre issue, or more complex faults.
