As a Roadside Technician with a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of post‑qualification experience, you will provide roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the Cheltenham cluster—including Cheltenham, Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Stroud, Cirencester (south) and Cotswold towns.
You will start and finish at home each day, tackling challenges on the road.
Compensation
Base salary of £36,400 with a realistic on‑target earnings (OTE) of £61,000. Top performers can earn significantly more through bonuses and enhanced overtime rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
- Diagnose and resolve faults, including flat batteries, tyre changes and complex issues, providing quick and confident solutions.
- Provide reassurance and outstanding member service, staying calm under pressure and communicating clearly with customers.
- Work independently, starting and ending your day at home, and manage a varied workload that includes fault diagnostics, tyre changes, battery replacements and other roadside assistance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
- At least 2 years of post‑qualification technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
- Customer‑focused approach and excellent communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
