Role Overview

You will be part of the Norwich cluster, covering areas such as Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Aylsham, Wymondham, and Beccles. You’ll work on pre‑booked appointments from a fully equipped RAC van, ensuring consistent, planned service and repairs in members’ driveways or car parks.

Responsibilities

  • Routine servicing of light vehicles.
  • Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
  • In‑depth repairs normally completed in a workshop.
  • Provide member advice and recommendations based on inspection.
  • Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
  • Work independently in a mobile setting, handling signalling, reporting and decisions on‑the‑spot.
  • Use technical skill and problem‑solving ability to deliver quick, confident service.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
  • Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
