As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you’ll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first‑class service without the constraints of a traditional garage. We’ll equip you for success from day one with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit all provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with customers, providing advice and representing the RAC with pride.
  • Servicing, diagnostics, repairs and checks, varying each day.
  • Manage stock and complete reporting.
  • Make on‑the‑spot decisions and provide the right service for each customer.

Qualifications:

  • Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
  • At least 2 years’ hands‑on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
  • A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Salary: Core hours 8:30 am‑5:00 pm, with 1 in 4 Saturdays. Hourly overtime over 8 am‑8 pm with flexibility and stability.
