You're not just in the RAC—you are the RAC. This role involves helping customers on driveways with servicing, diagnostics, repairs and checks, and representing the RAC with pride. Every fix, every chat, every driveway visit shows what we're all about.
Responsibilities
- Work with customers on driveways and in other locations, explaining repairs and providing advice while representing the RAC with pride.
- Mix servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and checks in daily work; manage stock, complete reporting, and keep customer conversations flowing.
- Think on your feet and make the right call for each customer, handling different fixes and challenges every day.
Qualifications
- Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
- At least 3 years' hands-on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, delivering maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to customers wherever they are, from driveways to office car parks.
Location & Salary
Tunbridge Wells, Kent – up to £55k per annum
A competitive base salary of £38,625, with on-target earnings up to £55,000 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, if applicable)
A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities
40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays
