As a Roadside Technician with a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and at least 2 years’ experience, you’ll start and end your day at home, tackling challenges head‑on and making a real impact on the roadside. You’ll be equipped with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit, and you’ll deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
Responsibilities
- Provide quick, confident solutions for a wide range of roadside issues including flat batteries, tyre changes and complex fault‑finding.
- Remain calm under pressure, think on your feet, and make the right call for each customer.
- Serve as a proud ambassador for the RAC and deliver a customer‑focused approach.
Qualifications
- A Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
- At least 2 years post‑qualification technical, electrical and diagnostic experience.
