What you'll be doing:
- Servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and checks.
- Manage your stock, do your reporting, and keep customer conversations flowing.

As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you'll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers—wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you'll deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage. You'll be equipped for success from day one with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit. Think independence, career progression, and real work-life balance with a 40-hour week that keeps you moving and out of the same four walls.
Qualifications:
- Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
- At least 3 years' hands-on experience as a vehicle technician with a range of light vehicles.
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
Salary and schedule:
- A competitive base salary of £38,625, with on-target earnings up to £50,000.
- A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
- 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.
