Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in our SMR Division – a new era of mobile repair.
Location & Salary
Huddersfield, West Yorkshire – Up to £52,000 OTE. Full time, 40 hours per week. 1 in 4 Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine servicing.
- Perform diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
- Carry out in-depth repairs normally completed in a workshop.
- Give member advice and recommendations based on inspection.
- Conduct vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
- Manage clear digital schedules and pre-booked appointments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent people skills – friendly, clear communication with members.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to varying tasks.
